Sam Cosamano founded IPD Engineering in 2009. He has created a company culture focused on exceeding client expectations by actively listening to client needs, working collaboratively with clients and teams, designing high-quality systems that are built to last, creating tailored and innovative approaches to complex projects, utilizing the latest technologies, and creating practical and sustainable designs.

Sam offers exceptional knowledge and an analytical approach to engineering design, project processes, and company operations. Sam’s expertise spans multiple industry sectors, including commercial, educational, industrial, housing, healthcare, and recreational, with projects ranging from historic rehabilitations and renovations to additions and new construction.

Sam is a licensed engineer, LEED® Accredited Professional and was recognized as one of the CNY Business Journal’s 40 Under Forty winners. He is a SUNY Institute of Technology graduate with a degree in Mechanical Engineering.
