Tom Manzo Named a 40 under forty

Congratulations to Tom Manzo, IPD Engineering’s Vice President of Operations, for being named a CNY Business Journal’s 40 Under Forty! Tom has been an integral part of the company since joining IPD as a designer in 2012. Tom quickly obtained his Professional Engineering License in 2013, was promoted to a Mechanical Engineer, began taking on increasing responsibilities as a Project Manager, earned his MBA in 2017, and most recently was promoted to the Vice President of Operations.

“Tom has thrived in every role. He is a standout engineer, has great empathy, supports his coworkers, and has the desire to help his colleagues and clients grow,” said Sam Cosamano, President of IPD.

In addition to 40 Under Forty, Tom was awarded VIP’s Craftmanship Award in 2014 for outstanding workmanship and productivity and VIP’s Leadership Award in 2015 for exemplifying VIP’s core beliefs, staying true to his word, and always completing what he set out to do. Tom is a very team-oriented leader, has been a part of IPD’s most complex and notable projects, and can attain project success on a wide variety of work.
