IPD Welcomes New hires

IPD Engineering expands with multiple new hires! 

 

Joining the team in the Syracuse office is Bonnie McClellan as a plumbing design engineer. She comes to the team with an impressive educational background, initially receiving her CAD drafting certificate from BOCES, and then completing several plumbing design courses with ASPE. Additionally, she completed micro-business training at the Small Business Development Center. Bonnie has made significant contributions to plumbing designs for school, housing and colleges.

 

Also joining the IPD team at the Syracuse office is Chris Decker! Chris comes to IPD with 11 years of experience in the engineering industry and graduated from SUNY Polytechnic University with a degree in Mechanical Engineering.  Chris has experience with Mechanical, Plumbing, and Fire Protection design. 

 

Peter Marshall, our new engineering accounting manager, provides accounting managing services to IPD and assists with tracking project costs and financial reporting. He is a SUNY Potsdam graduate with 8 years of financial experience working with scaling start-ups to large corporations. 

 

IPD’s Buffalo office adds two new hires. Dan Balz, Senior Electrical Engineer, who has over 15 years of experience holding positions as designer/drafter, project engineer and project manager and Trevor Petko, a recent graduate of SUNY Alfred with a degree in mechanical engineering technology. After completing an internship with IPD at the Buffalo office, Trevor participated in the 2022 ASHRAE HVAC Design competition. He returns to IPD and the Buffalo team as a mechanical design engineer.
